Getting Started

ClipMarket is a two-sided marketplace connecting content creators with video editors. Creators set up campaigns with customizable view rates, and clippers submit videos to earn based on performance.

How It Works

  1. 1. Content creators create campaigns - Set your budget, payout type, and requirements
  2. 2. Clippers find campaigns - Browse active opportunities and choose what to edit
  3. 3. Clips get posted - Clippers post on their own TikTok/YouTube/Instagram/X and submit the URL
  4. 4. Automatic tracking - We fetch metrics 4 times per day and calculate earnings
  5. 5. Scheduled payouts - Fixed Rate: pays at 10% milestones | Pot: pays at campaign end

For Content Creators

Creating Your First Campaign

  1. 1. Sign up - Create an account and select "Content Creator" as your role
  2. 2. Click "Create Campaign" - Access from your dashboard
  3. 3. Choose payout type - Select between Fixed Rate (pay per view) or Pot Payout (contest-style)
  4. 4. Set your budget - Minimum $100 to start your campaign
  5. 5. Define requirements - Specify platforms, content guidelines, and media files
  6. 6. Review & Publish - Platform fee and initial charge are processed via Stripe

Payout Types

Fixed Rate (Pay per View)

Set a rate per 100K views. Clippers earn as their clips accumulate views in real-time.

Rate: $50/100K views
Clip gets 150,000 views
Clipper earns: $75.00

💰 Payment schedule: You're charged 10% of budget every 10% milestone to fund payouts

Pot Payout (Contest)

Set a total pot. All qualifying clips share the pot proportionally based on their views.

Total pot: $500
Clip A: 100K views (50%) = $250
Clip B: 60K views (30%) = $150
Clip C: 40K views (20%) = $100
Total views: 200K

💰 Payment schedule: 100% pot is escrowed upfront, distributed at campaign end (100%) or when closed

Managing Campaigns

  • Pause: Stop accepting new clips temporarily
  • Resume: Reactivate a paused campaign
  • Close: Permanently end the campaign
  • Top-up: Add more budget to keep it running

Frequently Asked Questions

How often do metrics update?

Our reconciliation system runs 4 times per day, fetching the latest view counts and engagement metrics from all platforms.

When do payouts occur?

For Fixed Rate campaigns: Payouts process automatically at every 10% budget milestone (10%, 20%, 30%, etc.). For Pot campaigns: Payouts occur when the campaign reaches 100% or when the creator manually closes it.

What happens when a campaign runs out of budget?

The campaign status changes to "EXHAUSTED" and stops accruing new earnings. Views after exhaustion don't count. The streamer can top-up the budget to resume.

Can I submit the same clip to multiple campaigns?

No, each URL can only be submitted once. This prevents duplicate earnings and ensures fair distribution.

What are the platform fees?

Platform fees are tiered: $100-$499 (20%), $500-$1,999 (17%), $2K-$9,999 (15%), $10K+ (12%). This covers payment processing, platform infrastructure, automated tracking, and support.

What is social verification?

Before submitting clips, clippers must verify ownership of their social media accounts by adding a verification code to their bio. This is automated - our system checks your bio after 30 seconds and verifies instantly.

How does the Pot payout work?

In Pot campaigns, your entire budget is escrowed upfront. When the campaign reaches 100% or you manually close it, all qualifying clips (≥1,000 views) split the pot proportionally based on their view counts.

How do I set up payments?

Clippers: Go to Settings → Payment Settings → Add PayPal information to receive payouts.
Streamers: Go to Settings → Payment Settings → Connect Stripe Account to fund campaigns.

My clip isn't tracking views correctly

Check that: 1) The URL is correct, 2) The video is public, 3) You're the owner, 4) The platform API is accessible. Contact support if issues persist.
